Product introduction:

GiB Series Lithium battery, as a critical part of the most popular Energy Storage System (ESS), is widely used in industrial & commercial applications as well as household solar systems.

 

Super-safe lithium battery (lithium ion NCM or lithium iron phosphate LiFePO4) chemistry reduces the risk of explosion or combustion from high impact, over-charging or short circuit Battery Management System (BMS) controls the battery parameters to provide optimum safety, by protecting against over-charge and over-discharge. Intelligent BMS design balances the battery cells to an optimized performance.Higher-Capacity or Higher-Voltage available through parallel or serial connections. Robust ABS case with rugged-impact resistant.

 

 

Cycle life

GiB Lithium batteries are for customized projects, available with below DOD cycles, subject to the project budget.

 

DOD80% = 2000 cycles

DOD80% = 3000 cycles

DOD80% = 4000 cycles

Safety/Fuse Protection.

Under the protection of built-in BMS, every single piece of GiB Lithium battery is extremely safe with current control. The smart BMS would protect your batteries from over-load discharge, over-charge, temperature exceed (low & high safety level).

 

Equalization of battery initial specification.

We could have equalized specifications of the batteries in series/parallel on OCV, IR, Capacity, Temp, etc...

 

Warming / heating panel available for low temperature application (-45ºC).

This is quite helpful when batteries are used in extreme temperature conditions, summer hot and winter cold.

Q: Can we connect different lithium iron phosphate battery packs in parallel or series?
A: Yes. Customers can connect batteries in parallel or series. However, please note the following:
1. Before connecting in parallel, ensure that the voltage of each battery pack is the same. If the voltages are different, charge them at the same rate.
2. Do not connect discharged batteries in parallel with fresh batteries. This may reduce the capacity of the entire battery pack.
3. If you wish to connect batteries in series, please inform us of the target capacity of the entire battery pack. We will select the appropriate battery management system for each battery pack.
4. If you are not an expert in connecting batteries in parallel or series, please do not handle the batteries yourself. This may be dangerous and affect the battery cycle life.


Q: Can we connect different lithium iron phosphate battery packs in series?
A: You can purchase high-voltage batteries directly from us. We recommend not connecting batteries in series, as this will affect the cycle life of the battery pack.


Q: Do your battery packs include a battery management system? Can they be used in automotive applications? 
A: Yes, our battery packs include a BMS. You can use them only for low-speed vehicles or as an auxiliary power source for standard vehicles. Do not use them directly for standard vehicles, as that would require a more complex BMS design.
